As we step into December—a month that can so easily become noisy, rushed, and overflowing with to-do’s.
I felt God nudging me to create something that would help us slow down, breathe, and remember what this season is really about.
Not the shopping.
Not the schedule.
Not the stress.
But Jesus Himself.
And the Book of John does something that no other gospel does quite the same way.
It brings us intimately close to Jesus—His heart, His humanity, His miracles, His compassion, His teachings, His love, and ultimately His purpose.
If you’ve ever wanted to understand Him more clearly… or draw closer in a season when life feels full… this is the perfect place to begin.
So for the month of December, we’re reading through the entire Book of John—one chapter a day, with a few extra days at the end for reflection and preparation as we head into Christmas Eve.
It’s simple. It’s doable. And it’s deeply grounding.
My hope is that this becomes a sacred rhythm for you:
A few minutes each day to invite Jesus into your thoughts…
to steady your heart…
to shift your focus…
and to anchor your December in truth, not tension.
This isn’t about checking off a box.
It’s about preparing room in your heart for the One we’re celebrating.
It’s about rediscovering the wonder of who Jesus is—Light in the darkness, Life to the weary, Love poured out, and Truth that sets us free.
Each week we’ll have a simple theme—Light, Life, Love, and Truth—to help guide your reflection and keep this easy and meaningful.
And if you miss a day? Grace. You’ll have built-in catch-up days at the end, and you can jump right back in.
My prayer is that this challenge helps you feel more connected, more grounded, and more aware of God’s presence as you move through this season.
Let’s walk through the Book of John together and let the story of Jesus prepare our hearts for Christmas in the most beautiful way.
Are you ready?
Let’s begin.
